Additional Information:

In the fourth grade, students are refining a search plan for the first time. It will be important for teachers to guide students in using key words and questions about the topic to refine the search plan. Having students identify possible sources including experts and various media sources will also be important. This unit provides an excellent opportunity for students to create a PowerPoint presentation to present their findings.
