Concept: Scientific Processes and Inquiry Skills Review the steps of the scientific method. Students place steps in proper order and explain the significance of following the order of the scientific method.
Concept: Interpreting and Analyzing Data Students organize a set of data in table form. Discuss different methods of graphing data. Give examples of different graphs and have studetns interpret data.
Concept: Communication of scientific findings Model ways to communicate results. Discuss why it is important for scientists to accurately record and report results. Have students practice writing conclusions.
Concept: Laboratory Safety Procedures The students will practice safe laboratory techniques.
Concept: Laboratory Equipment Students will become familiar with laboratory equipment, its proper care, and use.
